‘Wild Britain’ expenses donations

Please help to make these fundraising concerts possible

I am asking for contributions towards the essential expenses for 'Wild Britain', This is a touring concert programme which I am giving as a fundraising project for UK-Med, supporting their work in Ukraine, Gaza and other war and natural disaster areas worldwide.

I will be giving all performances of ‘Wild Britain’ without fee. All I take for doing this is essential expenses, which are kept to a minimum. The agreement I have with UK-Med is an expenses allowance of maximum 25% of the box office for each concert. In some performance venues, this will cover all essential costs but in others there will be a shortfall of up to £400. This figure is based on estimates, and includes income from a minimum of 70 audience members, with expenses including travel, shared publicity costs, accommodation, venue costs and other miscellaneous expenditures.

In some concert locations, I can reduce costs considerably (such as private accommodation with a friend), and in these cases the money will go back into the UK-Med pot. All income (box office and donations) and expenditure will be publicly documented on the ‘Wild Britain’ webpage.

You would be donating to me, not to UK-Med, so Gift Aid is not possible for this. Your donation will be credited by date and by name (or ‘anonymous’, if you prefer) on the ‘Wild Britain’ webpage. If you are able to donate £400, you can be credited (if you wish) as a sponsor for a particular concert on the ‘Wild Britain’ webpage. (This is optional, and can also be ‘anonymous’ if you prefer).

All contributions of any amount are most welcome and very much appreciated. If the expenses amount to less than £400 for any concert, the balance will be carried forward to future concerts. When the touring of ‘Wild Britain’ finally ends, any remaining unspent donations will be given in full to UK-Med.
